About this tool
WRRK's PDF rotator turns scanned-sideways pages, mis-oriented screenshots, and rotated landscape exhibits the right way up. Everything runs in your browser using pdf-lib — a JavaScript PDF engine that reads, rotates, and writes pages without ever sending your file to a server. That makes the rotation both faster (no upload wait) and private (no copies left on anyone else's machine).
Most online PDF rotators force you to upload your document, sit through a queue, and then trust that the file gets deleted. WRRK flips that: the work happens on your device, the output is unwatermarked, and there's no signup or daily file cap. Because rotation is applied at the page-object level, file size and quality stay essentially identical to the original.
How to rotate a PDF (5 steps)
- Drop your PDF. Drag and drop the PDF, or click Choose PDF. The tool reads it locally and shows the page count.
- Pick rotation angle. Select 90, 180, or 270 degrees. The angle is applied clockwise.
- Pick which pages to rotate. Choose 'All pages' or 'Specific pages' and enter ranges like 1-3, 5, 8-10.
- Rotate. Click 'Rotate PDF'. Everything runs locally — your file is never uploaded.
- Download. Preview the result inline, then click Download to save the rotated PDF.

Frequently asked questions
+−How do I rotate PDF pages for free?
Drop your PDF, pick the rotation angle (90, 180, or 270 degrees), choose all pages or a specific range, and click Rotate. The rotated PDF is built locally in your browser and downloads instantly.
+−Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Rotation runs entirely in your browser using pdf-lib. Your PDF never leaves your device — the tool works offline once the page is loaded.
+−Can I rotate only specific pages instead of the whole PDF?
Yes. Switch to 'Specific pages' and enter ranges like 1-3, 5, 8-10. Only those pages get rotated; the rest stay as they are.
+−Does rotating reduce PDF quality?
No. pdf-lib applies a metadata-level rotation — page content isn't re-rendered or recompressed, so quality and file size are essentially unchanged.
+−Will the rotation stick when I open the PDF in another viewer?
Yes. The rotation is written into the page object itself, so every PDF reader (Acrobat, Preview, Chrome, mobile readers) shows the rotated orientation.
+−Can I rotate password-protected PDFs?
If a PDF is encrypted, the tool tries to load it with the ignoreEncryption flag. If that fails, decrypt the source first using its original password, then rotate.
+−Does the output have a WRRK watermark?
No. The output is a clean PDF with no added branding or watermark. It's exactly your file, with the rotation applied.
