About this tool
WRRK's PDF merger combines multiple PDF documents into a single file. Everything runs in your browser using pdf-lib — a JavaScript PDF engine that reads, writes, and copies pages without ever sending your files to a server. That makes it both faster (no upload wait) and private (no copies left on anyone else's machine).
Most online PDF mergers force you to upload your documents, sit through a queue, and then trust that the file gets deleted afterwards. WRRK flips that: the work happens on your device, the output is unwatermarked, and there's no signup or daily file cap. It's the same engine big legal and finance teams use to assemble case bundles, just exposed as a free utility.
How to merge PDFs (5 steps)
- Drop your PDFs. Drag and drop PDF files into the box, or click Choose PDFs to browse. The tool reads each file and shows the page count.
- Reorder. Use the up/down arrows on each row to set the order. The first file becomes page 1 of the output.
- Remove unwanted files. Click the ✕ on any row to remove it from the merge. Add more at any time by dragging in additional PDFs.
- Merge. Click 'Merge N PDFs'. Everything runs locally in your browser — your files are never uploaded.
- Download. Preview the result inline, then click Download to save merged.pdf to your device.

Frequently asked questions
+−How do I merge PDFs into one file for free?
Drop two or more PDFs into the box, drag the rows to reorder them, then click Merge. The combined file downloads as merged.pdf. There's no signup, no watermark, and no file-count limit.
+−Are my PDFs uploaded to a server?
No. Merging happens entirely in your browser using pdf-lib running on the client. Your files never leave your device — the tool even works offline once the page is loaded.
+−Is there a maximum file size or page limit?
No hard limit, but very large merges (hundreds of MB combined) are bounded by your device's available memory. Most laptops handle a few hundred pages comfortably.
+−Does merging keep bookmarks, links, and form fields?
Page content, internal links, and most form fields carry across. Bookmarks and complex JavaScript actions in the source PDFs are not preserved — pdf-lib copies pages, not document outlines.
+−Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
If a PDF is encrypted, the tool attempts to load it with the ignoreEncryption flag. If decryption fails, that file is marked with an error and skipped. Decrypt the source first using the original password if you need it included.
+−Does the merged PDF have a WRRK watermark?
No. The output is a clean PDF with no added branding, watermark, or metadata change. It's exactly the pages you uploaded, in the order you set.
+−Can I rearrange the order of files before merging?
Yes. Each row in the file list has up/down arrows to move it. Whatever order is shown is the order pages appear in the output.
